Biotope La Rupe

This protected wetland is located south of Mezzolombardo, in Rupe, along the final stretch of the Noce stream.

Walk along it and immerse yourself in a natural and unexpected setting, at the foot of the mountain.

Stop and try to silently spot birds such as the king germ, kingfisher or river nightingale. 

And if you're particularly lucky, you might even be able to spot the yellow-bellied howler, a rare amphibian.
