Church of St. George

In pure bare stone, the church is the oldest building in the village of Dorsino, dating back to the thirteenth century.

The vaults are covered with colorful frescoes by Cristoforo Baschenis, among which you can recognize San Giorgio who kills the dragon.

That same Saint George who, it is said around here, made a pact with the boys of the village. During the ball games in the square, he thought about stopping the ball when it rolled down.

The church is a two-minute walk from the bus stop.
