The small village of Tavodo is home to one of the oldest churches of the Giudicarie Esteriori, dating back to 1200.
Its bell tower, in bright reddish and grey stone, is among the most beautiful and best preserved of the Romanesque period in Trentino.
Inside it houses an organ made by the Bergamo cappuccino Fra’ Damiani in 1831.
The information booklet guides you during your visit to the churches of the Banale. Go to the tourist office and ask for a copy.
