Zambana White Asparagus Festival

Have you ever tasted our White Asparagus?
Here in Zambana, we’ve dedicated a festival to enjoy it in every way: whether in risotto or barley risotto, with egg sauce or gorgonzola, or shaved over carne salada carpaccio, its flavor enhances every dish.

During the festival, we organize field visits to show you how we cultivate and harvest it, show cooking, and tastings to teach you how to cook it and pair it with local wines.

We also share more about our community with photo exhibitions and guided tours of the nearby Zambana Vecchia church, where we preserve our memories.

Zambana White Asparagus Festival Program

Saturday, April 11 – ZAMBANA VECCHIA (at “La Tettoia”)

• 2:00 PM: Round table “Hands in the Earth” – The White Asparagus of Zambana from the table to land enhancement. Led by Walter Nicoletti.

• 3:30 PM: “Experiential” visit to the cultivation fields with Stefano Delugan.

• 5:00 PM: Show Cooking & Tasting – Discover how to enhance the asparagus with the Trentino Chefs Association. Tasting paired with wines from Villa Piccola Winery (Faedo).

Sunday, April 19 – ZAMBANA VECCHIA

• 2:30 PM: Guided visit to the fields with the growers of the White Asparagus Consortium. Departure from the Tettoia.

Sunday, April 26 – ZAMBANA NUOVA (Bocciodromo, Via Milano 2)

April 12, 26 & May 2, 3, 10

• 11:00 AM: Experience "ASPARAGUS: FROM EARTH TO TABLE" – Field walk, harvesting experience, and final asparagus risotto tasting with wine or apple juice.
